[ If Wolfwood's not going to move over, he's just going to drape over him, but in a way where his uncomfortable metal parts don't bother him through his shirt. Twisting and turning, he tries to get comfortable on a non-soft human body. ]

[ That being said, abandoning his rosary to poke Vash in his side as he wriggles. Go ahead wriggle some more, worm. You have entered within arm's reach of the bully zone although not too much. ]
[ Normally, Vash isn't ticklish. You can steel yourself for tickling and pain quite easily, but he wasn't quite prepared for a random poke. He squirms even more, biting back a giggle. Somehow, he manages a shaky squawk. ]
[ He laughs, an honest to god short bark in response to the squawk. It's apparently enough for Wolfwood to let Vash off with just the one poke, the hand resting over his back in a comfortable position instead. ]
That's what you get.
[ And NOW he shuffles a little bit, a little room to his side so Vash isn't either fully on him or in danger of falling off. ]
[ But importantly he cares about Wolfwood in a different and special way than the rest... Not that it would stop him from letting someone else use his room. It's just he feels differently with him. He heaves a sigh after the pat, taking a second or two to rest his head on Wolfwood with a bonk, then rolls to the side where he's supposed to belong.
They can fit comfortably, though it's a forced snuggle. Vash tries to make himself as small as possible. ]
Not feeling restless after being here for a while?
[ He's bonked... and then he slips an arm around Vash's waist as the other rolls over to his side. He moves over a little more, wiggling closer to the wall. ]
Comes and goes but I feel fine.
[ He can't control the feelings themselves, only how he outwardly presents them... but sincerely, he does feel pretty alright today. Another sort of productive, mostly peaceful day, but not so much that it gets him itching and unsettled.
[ This is very nice, actually, and when he realizes how much he likes and enjoys this, he can feel his nerves taking hold of him. It isn't enough for him to pull away, instead he snuggles closer. ]
It's nice to be around so many people. [ It fills up the empty spots in the day where he would have used it to ponder and mull over the past, then maybe drink. ] But it is kind of weird to stay in the same place for so long.
[ Resting his head... Somewhere. Pillow, close to Wolfwood's shoulder, he kind of stares at whatever whether it's skin or fabric. Some towns drove him out, some he had to leave because of his bounty—then there were the dangerous assassins under his brother. He had so many reasons to leave, the colony is no different.
There's peace now, though, which leaves him with every reason to stay. It's odd. ]

[ The last time he stayed in one place too long is. The UG. And then also the Ark. But barring those which barely count, he also has been on the constant move for a long time now. A week isn't that long honestly, but it's felt so long and yet not long at all in a place like this. ]
[ Those two definitely do not count considering both cases Wolfwood did not get to choose... Vash also did not choose the Underground. It felt like being in a nice cage when he thought of the former, the fake purgatory.
[ But he will stop hard pressing his face into Wolfwood, just a gentle press and rest. Would he mind if he loosely wraps an arm around him? Fortunately, the capsule rooms in the ship are well air conditioned. ]
A nice break before we get to work later for the orphanage.
[ The orphanage has no money. Or it's just Wolfwood's own money anyway. And also he would never ask the orphanage for money. Vash can wrap an arm around him yeah, why would he mind. His own arm over Vash absently traces his side with a thumb. ]
[ Maybe sometimes Wolfwood doesn't want to be touchy? Vash wants to be careful. ]
I don't need treat money, but treats would be nice...
[ But they've spent so much time together that Wolfwood can easily predict that Vash would do work for free for those in need. The orphanage may not be his family, but their Wolfwood's and that's all that matters.
Despite the bratty grumbling, he relaxes to Wolfwood's touch. He could take a nice nap like this. ]
Melanie's being modest and polite about it, but if there are any additions to the church you think would be good, the engineers are raring to work on the project.
[ If Wolfwood would like them to have a larger dining hall, or even a nappy time room, stuff like that. ]
[ He stares up at the ceiling though in thought. They're not picky... like, at all, really. Hand-me downs and cosy places are just fine, they're not raring for the brightest shiniest things. Too big of rooms and it might start feeling a little too spacious. ]
As long as each kid gets their own space. Guess they'll grow up and start studyin' stuff. Probably a half-decent yard to run around in that they won't trip and scrape their knees too badly on.

He pulls a hand up from it's comfortable rest up to Vash's jawline, lightly guiding the angle to where Wolfwood can give him a kiss proper if he lets him. ]

[ Fortunately, Vash understands the sentiment Wolfwood is going for and doesn't dive into the depths of what's worse. That isn't what matters in this context... The engineers and the architects will go wild, but it's charming, he thinks. It'll bring some light to a lost home rebuilt! The kids can have as many slides as they want.
Why wouldn't he let Wolfwood lead him into a kiss? If not to play defiant, he would let Wolfwood lead him anywhere... To an abandoned town, to a mirage oasis, to heaven, to hell—anywhere. Vash closes his eyes when their lips meet, barely parting so he can rub his nose against Wolfwood's. His eyelids open halfway, gaze downcast even though at this proximity all he can see is the other man.
It takes Vash a moment to answer and when he does his eyes flit to look directly at him. ]

[ No!! It was as in that isn't the sentiment he's going for, that it was just an innocuous though objectively true comment. A couple of overzealous engineers won't drive hiim up the wall. He will have to butt in on 'as many as they want' though, they still gotta learn some lessons like sharing. He's nice to kids but he also makes sure they learn well.
The kiss is nice. It's light and slow, a light grace. Wolfwood isn't very blatantly affectionate, but he's open to private skinship and soft touch. Something he still has to work on is reaching for it, but who is he to not indulge a little bit when Vash is all over him, literally. He doesn't have to reach far. ]
