They're all colour palettes and illustrations because greengrass weddings aren't main enough, it's only been so long since the Earth fleets arrived and terraforming No Man's Land has begun for real. Still, this person is good at their job and it's enough to make Wolfwood be like 'oh yeah, this colour palette does look bad.'
...Well, at any rate, they'll finally get a few sample squares. They're free to keep looking around or take these home. ]

She'll guide them to a quaint little table, one of them circular ones, with a woven basket of utensils in a neat red gingham napkin. How cute.
[ STRANGLE HIM FOR WANTING A TREAT? The whole time that they're in the process of getting seated, Vash takes a look around and mouths a "ohhh" because it's quite quaint. They even have fake plants to give it a green feel without having actual green.
This is all very cute! Once seated, it's time to tackle their order. ]
Okay. [ Flipping through the menu. I've decided it has pages. Vash's eyes are wide as he goes through the list, slowly becoming overwhelmed by variety. ] I didn't expect there to be so many items on the menu...?
It's probably those with the regular sized font but there's so much space between each item. And also for some reason, no pictures. It's one of those. ]
It's just all French toast with toppings, how complicated can it be?

Then, belatedly, realize Wolfwood can't read upside down. The menu is turned 90 degrees like that's the halfway point for both of them to be able to ready, but that's stupid, so he also ends up turning it again so it's facing Wolfwood entirely.
[ How dare you assume he can't read upside down, maybe he can. He does have his head a little bit tilted like an owl though, a gesture that follows when the menu is truned around for him. ]

But it's scary to watch it balance. So floppy, threatening to drop onto their pristine table and make a mess. It is a hazard. ]
