[ Nier isn't sure what's the appeal is... If it's just cake, call it cake? He will be amazed soon, but he will order her the soufflé pancakes, then the chicken and waffles for them to have... An actual meal. ]

[ It's called panCAKE. It's in the name! Anyway, chicken and waffles is a good comfort food combination. Would recommend. ]

They'll have a two plates of those fluffy pancakes, then the chicken and waffles. He pours the maple syrup for them. ]

[ Nier isn't a big eater, but he does like eating. This is mouthwatering. ]

[ It's a good thing that Kainé is a big eater. She'll finish everything he doesn't and then some. Patience is never something she's had much of, so she tries it immediately. ]

God, this is so damn good.

[ It tastes like heaven, if she had to imagine what heaven would taste like.

It wasn't too long ago that she would have never been able to have anything like this to eat. Or even be with Nier. It really is miraculous if she takes the time to think about it. ]

[ Her stomach is going to end both Sakyou and himself, but fortunately the two boys are hard workers... Maybe too diligent. Nier eats, but he also watches Kainé eat.

He kind of always watches her eat for a bit since he never got to back at home. She really does feast? ]

I should see about learning how to make them, but I would need someone to taste them.

She isn't paying attention to how Nier is paying attention to her eat because she doesn't think her eating is anything to be watched? It's just eating, Nier. She looks up at him when he says he'll learn to cook these pancakes. ]

[ She's suffered her own fair share of terrible cooking, but she's sure anything Nier makes wouldn't be that bad, and it's incredibly sweet that he would learn to make these soufflé pancakes.

It doesn't surprise her that he would at this point, but it doesn't make it any less moving. Every time he thinks of her only makes her small well of happiness grow. It only reinforces and strengthens what makes her love him. ]
